- Harish Hulyalkar started his career in 1997 with Arthur Andersen where he was involved in cross-border investment structuring and international tax planning for multinational corporations.
- In 2002, he joined the India founding team of Citigroup Investment Banking (Salomon Smith Barney) and spent the next 13.5 years in Citi’s Investment Banking division across offices in Mumbai and New York, where he primarily advised companies in the technology sector on M&A and capital market transactions.
- In 2015, he co-founded Iron Pillar, a US$ 90 Million venture growth fund focused on the Indian technology sector. At Iron Pillar, he led the development of the fund’s strategy, fund raising, structuring & set-up, meeting & evaluating entrepreneurs, forming investment theses, leading investments, and was a part of the fund’s investment committee.
- Since 2020, Mr. Hulyalkar is an Executive Director with Arpwood Capital, responsible for coverage of the Indian Technology (IT services and Internet-enabled businesses) and retail sectors.
- Mr. Hulyalkar is a rank holder Chartered Accountant and pursued his MBA as a founding batch student at the Indian School of Business.
